After a hard day of working, Applejack is quite dirty. We've already seen that the ponies from this show can sweat, so she doesn't quite smell the part either.
But seeing her beam like that from a hard day's work makes you wanna hug her anyway, even if it means having to take a bath afterwards.
I have to say, since I've started working on the Applejack petting game I've grown a new appreciation for Applejack. She may not take the spotlight as much as the others but she's pretty damn awesome.
